Eine überragende Ausstattung und Menge an Ressourcen macht die One Ultra HD mit 53.000 DMIPS zur schnellsten Box auf dem Receiver Markt. Durch die zwei fest verbauten Tuner, WLAN und Bluetooth ist die Box für praktisch jede Anwendung geeignet. Für USB Geräte stehen Anschlüsse mit den beiden Standards USB 2.0 und USB 3.0 zur Verfügung. Die Erweiterung des Speichers ist durch den verbauten SD-Kartenleser problemlos möglich. Die Wiedergabe von HDR und HLG Inhalten ist für die hochperformante Set-Top-Box, wie auch die Wiedergabe von H.265 (HEVC - High Efficiency Video Coding) kodierten Inhalten, eine Selbstverständlichkeit. Um z.B. den Streamingserver auch kabellos mit einer stabilen Verbindung im Netzwerk anbieten zu können ist ein MIMO-fähiges Dualband WiFi (2,4 / 5.0 GHz) im System integriert, für die kabelgebundene Integration ins heimische Netzwerk steht ein Gigabit Netzwerkanschluss zur Verfügung. Trotz der enormen Rechenleistung der Dreambox One arbeitet diese lautlos, da sie ein ausgeklügeltes passives Kühlsystem besitzt und somit keine zusätzlichen aktiven Lüfter/Ventilatoren benötigt werden.
